NICE Day For A Walk

On the 25th of September 2016 we are holding a walk from Lisburn Island Centre to Belfast City Hall. The walk is 13 mile walk and takes between 3-4 hours to complete. It will start on Sunday 25th at 10am and hopefully we will be finished for around 2 at Belfast City Hall or just shortly after. All family and friends are welcome to join in on the walk. On the day of the walk make sure you wear appropriate clothing (eg trainers) to suit the weather bring some water and something to eat for lunch as we will have a break half way through. So why are you doing the walk and what does the money go towards? The money is for N.I.C.E (Northern Ireland Children’s Enterprise) they are a group of people who have a mission to promote peace, reconciliation and mutual understanding between the communities of Northern Ireland. We the have been part of so many of their programmes and they have really changed our lives. Now NICE are short of funds and don’t know if they will last much longer and we don’t want to see them go so we are trying to stand up and raise as much money as we possibly can for an organisation that has touched the life of so many young people and hopefully so many more to come. We have been through the programmes and we can truly say nice has changed our lives and they way we see different communities. NICE are all about the children and young people now, where the ones that can make the difference. NICE volunteers give up there time to open up their hearts to so many young people and help them understand different communities. Any donation that you can give would be so helpful every little helps. Thank you so much to NICE for their hard work and programme.
