"A Trail in the Making." We are crowd funding for a new walking trail. The trail will include sections for all kinds of walkers, plus an overall long-distance option to offer a real taste of adventure. Every donation will help to make the trail a fantastic success so that all kinds of people can enjoy the countryside by train and on foot. The Heart of Wales Line Development Company's core business is to support the railway service between Swansea and Shrewsbury (the "Heart of Wales Line").
Why the community needs usThe Walking Trail will provide better access to the countryside for everybody's health and well being. From an economic point of view, it will attract sustainable tourism and that will boost local business. From a social point of view, we would simply like to attract greater numbers to the line to enjoy the appeal of a rail based ramble via a rather wonderful rural railway line.
Our impact on the communityA 150 mile walking trail that intersects with the railway, so that all kinds of people can enjoy the beauty of the countryside.
