Caerphilly Miners Centre was set up to breathe new life into the former Miners’ Hospital. Its focus is on supporting the whole community’s wellbeing, celebrating our heritage and safeguarding our environment. We aim to make people feel less isolated, more able to volunteer, and feel that they are part of something local within our resilient community.
We often rely on grant funding for new initiatives, but few funders pay for IT equipment updates. Adam Davies, our young digi-volunteer, giving his time to our Digital Fridays, has decided to run the Caerphilly 10k to raise money for IT equipment at the Miners.
We rely on the generosity of our community and we are grateful for every donation. Some people give money and others give of their time and experience. Diolch yn fawr!
